Edele Lynch

Edele Lynch is an Irish singer-songwriter, best known as the lead singer of Irish girl group B*Witched, of which her twin sister Keavy is also a member. Their brother Shane is a member of the boy band Boyzone.
In 1997, Edele and her twin sister Keavy formed the girl group D’zire with their friend Sinéad O’Carroll. The trio began writing and recording together, but soon realised that there was “someone missing”. After an audition Lindsay became the fourth member of the band, who later changed their name to B*Witched.
They enjoyed success in both Europe and North America between 1998 and 2001, releasing two albums and seven singles, all of which made the UK Top 20. Their first four singles, “C’est la Vie”, “Rollercoaster”, “To You I Belong” and “Blame It on the Weatherman”, all reached number one in the UK Singles Chart. The group sold 6 plus million albums worldwide.
After the split, Edele joined with the songwriting/production team Xenomania. She co-wrote “Some Kind of Miracle” for Girls Aloud’s debut album Sound of the Underground, and “Situation’s Heavy” for the Sugababes’ third album Three.
In October 2012, it was announced that B*Witched would reunite for the ITV2 reality-documentary series The Big Reunion along with other pop groups of their time. Due to the success of the show and the high demand for tickets at the Hammersmith Apollo gig, B*Witched and the other bands embarked on 2 arena tours around the UK and Ireland.
In October 2013, Edele won Celebrity Apprentice Ireland, beating journalist Amanda Brunker in the final and winning €45,000 for her chosen charity, Laura Lynn House.
On 18 August 2014, Edele entered the Celebrity Big Brother house and got through to the final.
